hi Tony! As I've answered to you in inbox, I thought to add a bit more details on the subject here, as it might be helpful for somebody else too.
It's an important thing to consider, as painting job on synthetics is different in many ways, including the art materials which they require.
The reason for this, if you're curious to know, is because many fabric markers are designed for natural fibers, using dye-based ink that needs to soak in. For synthetics, you need markers with pigment-based (paint-like) ink that can stick to the surface.
So try to look for permanent fabric markers that specifically say they work on synthetics, or use heat-setting techniques (like ironing) to help the ink bond better.
👉Here are some recommendations:
Marvy Uchida Permanent Fabric Markers https://amzn.to/42IHNxX (see which colors or brush tip you need, there's a whole lot of them)
Sharpie for Fabrichttps://amzn.to/40YRwPi (now on SALE, I bought way too expensive...). Watch my review of these, if you haven't yet
Pentel gel pens (2pcs set)https://amzn.to/4aOCdvV (one of my favorite pens, a real keeper👍 )
📍It's really important to test the marker on a piece of fabric your planning to draw Before you start the project. I found that some of them are bleeding on some types of synthetics.
Thank you very much!
